I have a client who is putting her million dollar waterfront home in Kingston Ontario on the market at the end of February/early March.
She’s already hired a painter but needs help choosing the colors.
The home is currently sparsely furnished and the owner is open to adding all new furnishings to cater to the high end market.
Located between Toronto and Montreal, about 90 minutes from Ottawa, Kingston is not a town of million dollar homes.
So this house will have to be staged beautifully to appeal to the right target market. The homeowner wants “a sophisticated look to appeal to a Toronto buyer.”
She said “I’ll willing to pay you lots to come out here and do my house, just tell me what it will cost.”
The reality is, I’m too booked up to take the time to travel back and forth to Kingston, no matter what she’d be prepared to pay me.
This project would easily be worth $2,500 to $5,000 for the right home stager.
