Elizabeth Freeman of Staged Designs who completed the Staging Diva Program last spring is featured in a fabulous 5-part TV news feature on WGME 13 News in Portland, Maine.
The story— which unfolds over five evenings— follows Elizabeth, a landscaper and painter as they transform a house that’s been sitting on the market more than a year and has already taken a $14,000 price reduction in a slow real estate market.
The news feature makes it clear that had the Handler family staged their home prior to listing they probably would have sold long ago and saved themselves the price reduction.
Elizabeth did an awesome job with not only the house, but coping with having a news team follow her every movement. It’s not easy performing for the camera while looking like you’re just going about your normal routine, but she pulled it off like a real pro! I’m so proud of her!
I share lots of marketing tips throughout the Staging Diva Training Program, but especially in course 4, “Staging Diva Sales & Marketing Secrets to Boost Your Home Staging Business,” where we discuss how to talk about the benefits of staging and how to market your business to the media. Clearly Elizabeth has taken what she learned and applied it.
I’m sure if you told Elizabeth she’d be the star of the local TV news for five evenings a year ago, she never would have believed it. That’s the beauty of following your dreams, when you do ANYTHING is possible.
