Home Stager needed in Unionville

I have a client who is putting her 3300 square foot Unionville home on the market this spring. She’s lived there for 20 years and recognizes that her home will probably need painting and repairs. She would also like advice on what to keep and what to get rid of and is prepared to change some of her furnishings for rental items if that’s what it will take to get over $600,000 for her home.

This home staging project is located in Unionville, close to Warden and 16th Avenue. With a population over 100,000, Unionville is a suburban community located within Markham about an hour drive northeast of downtown Toronto (depending on traffic).

Unionville’s historic main street, dating back over 200 years, features quaint art galleries, gift shops, cafes and even a few home furnishings stores. I remember it well as my lunch destination when I was in charge of American Express Gold Card marketing back in the 1980s. Another life ago!

I don’t know if this is true, but I’ve read that Unionville’s Main Street was used as a stand-in for a small Connecticut town (Stars Hollow), during the first season of the TV show Gilmour Girls!
