“What you have to do and the way you have to do it is incredibly simple. Whether you are willing to do it is another matter.” ~ Peter F. Drucker
Aspiring home stagers, I want you to think about that quote for a minute and how it relates to your desire to start a home staging business.
You know how to transform a home from boring to beautiful so you’ve got that part of the equation down. And guess what? It’s not difficult at all to learn how to operate a home staging business. The Staging Diva Training Program can teach you how in 10 hours or so.
The difficult part is deciding whether or not you’re willing to go for it.
Home stagers, can you describe how it felt when you finally decided to act on your dream of starting a staging business? I’d love if you’d share your own story by leaving a comment below.

When the scary decision was made to leap in and start my home staging business, my internal attitude about life changed. I’ve always had a tremendous sense of gratification when I completed a home for myself – but the feeling I got when I completed my first “staging consultation” for a stranger was through the “roof”! Every decision I make now has a focus, and that focus is building my business. It may take awhile before Ivy Home Staging can support me and I can retire from my current job, but at least I now have a tangible goal! I have so much enthusiasm for my future, I feel that life has only just begun! Thank-you Debra, for all of the wise advice from the training materials and for posting inspirational stories from other stagers.

Leah Fritz, Perfect Place Home Staging LLC says
A health crisis is what really woke me up and got me thinking about my life. (Let’s just say teetering on the brink of renal failure can be quite the eye opener!) After months of doctor’s appointments, medical tests, and a few stints in the hospital, I fully recovered and decided to face the facts about my life. One realization hit me like a train… I’ve spent years upon years working a thankless job that left me frustrated, depressed, and completely spent!
I felt very thankful (and lucky) to be well again, so I wasn’t about to squander away my gift of new found health in an office cubicle. It was then I decided to stop doing what I felt I had to, and instead start doing what I really wanted to!
Long story short, I now own and operate Perfect Place Home Staging and enjoy a whole new chapter in my life. Call me crazy, but I feel a bit fortunate for my health scare. It was the wake-up call I needed to make a change. Like my Mom always says… “LIfe’s short, Eat dessert first!”
